And now for something light: What is consciousness? You probably don't spend your nights awake pondering this question - but I do.
O.k. not every night, but it is a subject I am interested in. How come we are conscious? Most pertinently: Does our consciousness survive our body? There are many examples that seem to indicate it does.
In a movie we saw this weekend an interesting thing happened: A person died and after her death the story continued for awhile from her point of view - a dead woman's perspective - where she addressed the people she loved and pondered how her death would affect them.
