Is anyone else not comfortable with this turn of events? The public had been told Bin Laden resisted arrest and was shot in combat. That was bad enough … are the highly trained US Navy Seals not capable of disarming an enemy combatant without killing him? Methinks it was very bad policy to kill (murder?) the man. To begin with, what's all this vengeance talk? Are we as bad as they are? An eye for an eye? When will we learn?! But importantly, the opportunity to put him on trial, to present him (and all Al-Qaeda sympathisers) with the evidence of their wrong-doings, has been wasted. Bin Laden should have rotted in jail, instead he now is a martyr. The repercussions from the Muslim world will be felt all around the world.
