64 / Playing for Change - bless you, Bob Marley
This will warm your heart. Playing for Change is a multimedia project that brings together musicians from all over the globe. The producers travelled around the world with a mobile recording studio and had locals perform a Bob Marley song, 'No more Trouble'. The project's goal is to 'inspire, connect and bring peace to the world.'
That's good enough for me.
You can sing along (I don't understand all the words, but here's the gist of the song):
Until the philosophy we're told one race is superior than another, inferior
Is finally
and permanently discredited and abandoned
Oh everywhere
is war - say war
Congo sees war
Children are dying
Until
there are no longer first class, second class citizens
Of
any nation
Until
the colour of man’s skin is of no more significance
Than
the colour of his eyes
Everywhere
is war
War
Everywhere
is war
…
War
…
We
don’t need no more war
Some
winning, some losing, some dying, some crying - some singing
We
don’t need no more trouble
What
we need is love
To
guide and protect us all
If
you hope good down from above
Help
the weak to get strong
You got to stop the war
We
don’t need no more trouble
We also don't need no Liberal far right wing religious extremist politicians making decisions that affect the future of life on this planet based on narrowed minded male chauvinistic capitalistic greed i.e Tony Abbott!
Maybe you should send the Playing for Change link to him - although I'm sure he won't 'get' it.

Doesn't warm mine. It depresses me.

Good on you, Carsten! I totally agree we can all do our bit in whichever way we can … helping others whenever/however we can.
