122 / My new, bestest, most loved book

I have to tell you about my new book, Reality Hunger, by David Shields.

This book has opened my eyes to - and has validated - a new literary form (one that I have been using for the past twenty years, nonetheless.) To describe it I use the term 'eclecticism', David Shields borrows a phrase from an essay by Ralph Waldo Emerson 'panharmonicon.' Check this book out - if you read the accolades about it you'll find more superlatives than you ever thought were possible about a book. However, I hear a lot of novelists don't like it.
