El Dorado is the name of a gaming room (i.e. a room full of poker machines) at a Sydney hotel - it is the most lucrative gaming room in NSW. The turn-over for 30 pokies is $94m. That's apparently $491 per machine, per hour (SMH today)! Wow - I say it again, WOW! … 

And it is widely acknowledged that the gamers are from the lower end of the economic spectrum; i.e. it's poor people who provide this El Dorado for the hotel's owners.
