… and it's election week. Our world won't be the same in 7 days' time. Or will it?

How much difference will it make whether Julia or Tony get up? I reckon a fair bit … Tony Abbott and the Liberals would take the country back a decade or two, Julia Gillard and Labour will - with the help of the Greens - work toward a brighter economic future, with reasonable industrial relations, usable broadband and hopefully - I count on you, Bob - some consideration for the environment and sustainability. My money is on Labour getting in … Australians are not stupid enough to vote for the other lot and their nihilistic ways.

Anyway, one thing's for sure: On Monday 23rd of August, Sydney's sky will be as blue as ever (o.k. - unless it rains.)
