167 / Tony Blair gets grilled by Jon Stewart

Did you watch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart? How brilliant is that man; he's been all over Tony Blair.

I though Blair has found it hard to articulate his stance on the destruction of Iraq, where-ever he was interviewed. But Jon Stewart had him on the spot - he called the way the West has behaved since 9/11 'naive'. Says he (something like …) "You know, I'm a rich man. I live in New York, I can afford staff in my apartment, I have all the money to keep it clean. Yet, I have cockroaches. So, I can get rats to eat the cockroaches. But then I've got a rat plague. O.k., so I get cats. But then the cats take over. What'll I do? Well, I get dogs … but they get out of hand too; what's next? Will I get Pola-bears? The point is, I will never be rid of cockroaches; I can seal my apartment off, I can fumigate it … but what sort of life is that?"
